Naturally thermoregulating

The skin-friendly TENCEL ™ smooth cellulosic fiber is designed regulate moisture absorption and release in the best possible way. This creates breathable fabrics, that naturally support the temperature-regulating properties of the skin and thus the moisture management of the body. They cool when warm and heat when cold. Our SCHÜMER TENCEL™ BLENDS are ideal companions everywhere where physical efforts are on your daily agenda. Our finishing takes place without any harmful residues. To protect the wearer, the fabrics are produced by using materials certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Naturally hygienic

TENCEL ™ fibers absorb moisture efficiently and therefore have optimal hygienic properties. Thus, there is less moisture for the growth of bacteria compared to polyester or other synthetic fibers on the fiber surface. This capability offers the best conditions for use in hygiene-sensitive environments, such as in the hospital area and the geriatric care.

Naturally sustainable

The TENCEL ™ fiber is of botanical origin, it is obtained from the raw material of wood from sustainable forestry – without the use of pesticides. The manufacturing process was awarded the European Environmental Prize by the EU, as the process water is recycled and more than 99% of the solvent is returned to the production cycle.
